Winter ReFit Completed
This winter we took the opportunity to completely tear the boat down and make some long-needed improvements that hopefully will pay off in our racing. While the list is long, some of these include:
Unfortunately these tasks took so long and the weather in March has been so, so bad that it is looking like it will be a real stretch to have the boat ready for our first race -- the Patos Island Classic. We have heard great things about this race and it will be a good shakedown for the boat after all these projects.
- Updated non-skid on the deck
- New main alternator drive system
- New navigation system & electronics package
- Relocate speedo & depth transducers
- Addition of redundant systems for offshore
- Numerous rigging changes
- Etc, etc, etc
